Three day course format in first aid at work.
Training Content
- Understand the role of the First Aider, the use of available equipment, the need to record and report incidents.
- Understand the need for basic hygiene in First Aid.
- Assess the situation, to enable prompt action to deal effectively with incident.
- Demonstrate how to administer First Aid promptly for casualty who is in seizure or unconscious.
- Demonstrate C.P.R.
- Deal with wounds, bleeding or is in shock.
- How to deal with choking Dressings and Bandages Diabetes and treatment Asthma Burns and scalds Shock and its treatment
